The apartment has a wonderful south facing setting, overlooking the 11th green and lake and looking out across both the widest part of the course and looking down its length, The very large (30 sqm) ‘L’ shaped balcony is a great place to enjoy the golf. It shares a number of large communal swimming pools and internally you will find all the rooms furnished to an exceptional standard with air-conditioning and heating in the lounge and bedrooms.
We are 2 minutes from the traditional Spanish town of Sucina and 15 minutes from the lovely beaches and resorts of the Mar Menor. Alternatively, the seaside resort of La Manga is 35 minutes away. Here you will be able to enjoy Europe's largest salt water lagoon, boasting over 170 km of shallow warm water.
The cosmopolitan city of Murcia is 25 minutes away, famous for its restaurants, bars and historical architecture and now even for its new football stadium, where you can catch the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona since Murcia have been promoted! Hacienda Riquelme is also only a couple of hours from great skiing on the Sierra Nevada ski slopes, the most southerly ski resort in Europe. Inexpensive and generally quiet, a great place for beginners.
The nearest airport is Murcia (San Javier) 25 minutes away. Alternatively Alicante is about 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended and available at both airports.

- A temporary clubhouse will be available when the golf course opens and a new town centre with bars and restaurants is being built around the old Hacienda. When completed the resort will also boast the Hacienda Clubhouse with restaurants, bars, boutiques, bank & cash point, medical centre, daycare centre, supermarket with home delivery service, tennis courts and gymnasium.
- Guests also have use of neighbouring La Torre, El Valle and Mar Menor Polaris World Resorts and a free courtesy bus will be available between resorts.
